IT and Culture: Over 200 exhibits from Astrakhan museums available on the popular digital platform “Artifact”

Thanks to the national project Culture, over 200 exhibits are now available on the digital museum platform Artifact. All of them are stored in Astrakhan museums. Artifact exists for art lovers to have an opportunity to get new experiences from visiting museums, or to go on an individual tour without leaving their home.

For example, in 2020, the Astrakhan Museum-Reserve published on the Artifact platform the exhibition Nomad Gold, and then in 2022 – the exhibition Birds of the Volga Delta.

In 2018, the Dogadin Astrakhan State Art Gallery presented on the Artifact platform the collection Astrakhan Collection of Russian Art with 40 items in total. In 2021, the collection of the Khlebnikov House-Museum became available, and in 2022, the Kustodiev House-Museum displayed their holdings. In 2023, the collection of the Museum and Exhibition Centre “House of Merchant G. V. Tetyushov” will be presented as well.
