Informational technologies and the society: the President held a meeting on the technological development

The President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev determined three priority tasks on the development of the system of strategic informational technologies in the country. Opening the meeting of the commission on modernization and technological development of the Russian economics, he said: “the creating of super-computers and greed-systems, introduction of “the electronic government” and the development of educational services on the base of Internet-resources of the new generation are necessary”.

Dmitry Medvedev gave a commission to the government to consider the appeal of directors of informationally-telecommunicational enterprises about the governmental support.
