Russian Libraries: Libraries in Volgograd will get new computers

This year 426 municipal public libraries in Volgograd Region will be equipped with computers. For these purposes the regional budget spends 29 mil. roubles.  Moreover in 2009 the region will get over 8,3 mil. roubles on stocking of library funds in  such towns as Volgograd, Volzhsky, Kamyshin, Mikhailovka, Uryupinsk, Frolovo and also in 33 regional districts. The libraries will get new books for children and youngsters, fiction, reference and cartographical editions, artistic and photo albums, literature on psychology, philosophy, pedagogics etc.
