66th anniversary of Leningrad’s siege lift: Reconstruction of the Great Patriotic War battle

The military historical costume reconstruction of the battle to celebrate the 66^th anniversary of Leningrad’s liberation from siege will take place on January, 24 in the town of Nikolskoye, Leningrad oblast.

The press service of the regional administration informed that the participants of the reconstruction would use authentic historical weapons, auto- and motor vehicles, and the military uniform of the Great Patriotic War.

This event will bring together the clubs of military historical reconstruction from St. – Petersburg, Moscow, Pskov, Priozersk, Kolomna, Petrozavodsk, Kaliningrad, Kazan as well as the clubs from Belarus, Ukraine, Estonia, Germany, the UK and Sweden. The battle’s reconstruction is expected to attract over 400 participants.
