IT and education: New device for lecture theatres and conference rooms
The NEC Display Solutions company is launching a new all-round installation NEC NP2200 projector. The device is aimed particularly at customers from the educational, corporate and professional audio-visual sector. Consistent with the Green Vision campaign from NEC Display Solutions, the NP2200 boasts numerous features for energy-efficient working.
With a brightness of 4,200 lumens and a contrast ratio of 600:1, the NP2200 model is ideal for installation in conference rooms, lecture theatres and exhibitions. The projector’s maximum resolution is 1,600 x 1,200 (UXGA), while the native resolution is 1,024 x 768 (XGA). The standard lens is designed for a projection distance of between 1.2 and 21.9 metres. There are also five optional lenses available for projection distances of up to 70 metres. With the optical lens shift function, the projector can also be positioned out of screen center and the picture will be projected without any distortion to the projection surface (vertically by 50, horizontally by 10 per cent).
The device is woken up from standby mode by an input signal and, thanks to the Quick Start function, this all-rounder is ready for operation in just a few seconds. It is controlled via the remote control unit or from the PC via virtual remote.
