His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia attended the renovation works, carried out in the St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral in Kronstadt. He remarked that the cathedral in Kronstadt was going to become a memorial of military glory of Russia. "It is wonderful, that we are recreating the Cathedral of Naval glory. The plates, bearing the names of seamen, which will be installed in the cathedral, should also include the names of those, who protected the Fatherland during post-revolutionary time. We can’t allow a fragmentary representation of history", - stressed His Holiness Patriarch.
