65th Great Victory Anniversary: International Youth expedition "Following fathers’ and grandfathers’ routes" kicked off in St. - Petersburg

On April, 16 on Vitebsk Railway station in St. – Petersburg started an International Youth expedition “Following fathers’ and grandfathers’ routes – for peace and concord”. Young people from Russia and Belarus went to tombs of soldiers of the Great Patriotic War. They took bread, which was prepared following the recipe of 1942.

The expedition will last for 2 weeks. In every city the participants will take handfuls of earth, to be donated to the Central Museum of Great Patriotic War (Poklonnaya Hill) on 9th May.
