The First Youth International Economic Forum opens in St. Petersburg

On June 15-17 in St. Petersburg will take place the First Youth International Economic Forum. About 200 young entrepreneurs at the age of 18 – 30 will participate in the event.

It is anticipated that the Forum will become a firing pad for the formation of the youth business society in Russia and the support of young entrepreneurs.

The main subject of the Forum is the discussion of the issues related to the development of youth entrepreneurship in new economical conditions. The program consists of 4 discussion blocks which cover the most urgent topics determining the development of the modern world economy: ‘Cities of the future’, ‘Social entrepreneurship’, ‘Education’ and ‘Talents development’.

The essential part of the events will have a form of the ‘brainstorm’: the participants will form 4 teams of 50 members. The discussions will also be attended by the experts of the Forum, the representatives of the Russian and foreign business-structures, successful business whose opinion is authoritative for young people.

As a result of these ‘brainstorms’ each team will present its solution of the original problem at the final meeting of the Forum. The most original solutions will be included into the message addressed to the RF leaders, note the organizers.

At the end of the Forum all its participants will have the opportunity to join the St. Petersburg economic forum which will take place June 17-19.
