National holidays: Festivities marking Baptism of Rus Day to take place in Moscow

A festive occasion called “Under the Sun” timed to the new country’s memorial date – Baptism of Rus Day - will kick off on the Pushkin Square in Moscow.

The holiday’s program will include concerts, chimes, festivities, contests, and master classes by craftsmen. 

From July 24 to August 1 here will be launched an Orthodox fair.

A concert, which will bring together famous artists, will take place on July 28 at 6 p. m. on the Pushkin Square.

The holiday is held under the patronage of the Committee for relations with religious organizations of Moscow.
