Scientists undertook a comprehensive study of historic artefacts, the condition of which enables them not only to revive lost fragments and characteristics of rarities themselves, but what is more, detect the names of their former owners.

“This site had been being developed since the time immemorial. Finds cover articles from silicon, which go back to the Middle Stone Age – Mesolithic. This is namely 7th - 8th cc. BC”, - Igor Chernykh, Deputy Director of the Tver United Museum told.

Scientists said that later, in times of the Tver principality, there was located a trading quarter. This is proved by fragments of potteries dating back to the beginning of 14th c. Even whole masters’ streets, where craftsmen were casting bronze, used to be there.

In large quantity have survived housewares and women’s jewelry. A vast territory is occupied by Kurovsky baths built in mid. 19th c. All the discoveries will be restored, included into the database and put on display at the museum.
