Russian culture abroad: Russian Center of Science and Culture to open in Madrid

Russian Center of Science and Culture is opening December 2011 in Madrid, the opening ceremony will be held within the framework of the Cultural Exchange Year for Russia and Spain, announced Deputy Head of the federal agency “Rossotrudnichestvo” Sergei Shapovalov.

He mentioned that the cultural center will be located in the historical heart of Madrid, the rental contract spanning six years will enter into force in July 2011. The cultural center will offer Russian language learning courses, a library and a cinema and concert hall.
