IT: Glasses-free 3D laptop debuts in Russia

Toshiba has announced about the arrival of the first glasses-free 3D laptop in Russia.

The 3D laptop is equipped with a 15.6-inch LED-backlit Full HD display (1920 x 1080). The display may show 2D and 3D images at a time – in different desktop windows, the producer says. More than that, a built-in camera and special software detect the move of user’s eyes in front of the screen and correct the stereo-effect.

The new product belongs to Toshiba’s Qosmio series. The model is equipped with Harman Kardon stereo loudspeakers, Dolby Advanced Audio and Sleep-and-Music technologies and Blu-ray. The laptop offers 7 extra sensor buttons with illumination, including a button that converts 2D into 3D.
