Memorable dates of Russia: Lomonosov bust to be raised in Krasnodar in honor of the 300th birthday anniversary of the scholar

September 13, 2011 bust of the scientist Mikhail Lomonosov, will be raised in Krasnodar, in the main street of the city - the Red Street. The sculpture will be in front of the Kuban State Technological University. The bust will be established within the project "Alley of Russian Glory."  The head of the project, entrepreneur from Kropotkin, Mikhail Serdyukov granted the sculpture to the university.

Earlier, on September 9, a monument to Mikhail Lomonosov was inaugurated in Sochi, in the park of the Black Sea Humanitarian Academy. All these activities mark the 300th birthday anniversary of the great Russian scientist and explorer.
