Information technology and authority: Basic areas of informatization of all government bodies discussed at the conference in Moscow area
The main areas of informatization of government bodies to ensure compatibility of state information systems were discussed at the International Conference "Status and prospects of development of IP-communications and IP-based services in Russia," which takes place September 6-7, 2011 in Moscow area.
At the workshop devoted to improving the legal base for development of info-communications, were discussed the issues related to the possibility of typification of software solutions used in the bodies of state power, and compatibility of decisions when providing government services electronically.
Director of the State Policy in the Information Technology and coordination of informatization under the Ministry of Communications of Russia, Igor Milashevsky told about the key challenges of informatization. Igor Milashevsky reminded that recently was developed and put into operation the AIS "Coordination" into which all public authorities introduce information on planned activities in the field of ICT for three years. In addition, the state program of the Russian Federation, "Information Society" includes activities to build standards for the interoperability of information systems used in government bodies to create a national software platform.
