Presidential Library’s delegation joins 63rd Frankfurt Book Fair

On October 12 2011 a delegation of the Presidential Library arrived in Frankfurt am Main to join the 63rd Frankfurt Book Fair, which is running through October 16.

The expo fair has brought together public and private publishing houses from all corners of the world, various book associations and features presentations of writers, artists, journalists and various workshops.

The staff of the Presidential Library has learnt about new books, innovations at libraries and in publishing industry, established business contacts with representatives of libraries, archives and museums of Europe.

Every year Frankfurt Book Fair – Frankfurter Buchmesse – attracts over 7300 participants from 100 countries, including Russia. Since 1949 Buchmesse has been annually held in the heart of Germany and has become the largest book forum of the world.
