Russian memorable days: Monument to Mikhail Lomonosov raised in Belgorod for his 300th birthday anniversary

On the eve of the 300th anniversary of Mikhail Lomonosov in Belgorod was inaugurated a monument to the prominent Russian scientist. The monument was erected on the square in front of the Center for nano-structured materials and nanotechnology, Belgorod State National Research University, Koroleva Street.

The monument was a gift to the staff of the university from "Alley of Russian glory" project manager Mikhail Serdyukov. According to him, the inauguration of the monument is one of the activities of the project, planned to revive the patriotic spirit of the Russian people.
