History of Saint-Petersburg: Photo exhibition “The Geometry of the City” dedicated to the City Day celebration

May 24, 2012 at the new building of the National Library of Russia (Saint-Petersburg) in the framework of the official program “The City Day” opens a photo exhibition “The Geometry of the City”.

The subject of the exhibition is the City in its cultural sense: architecture, art objects, cultural events, famous people and ordinary citizens.

After the exhibition ending the photographs will be transferred to the fund of the National Library of Russia – it is about 100 items of works, executed in various types of technique and format.

The photo exhibition “The Geometry of the City” is a joint project of the National Library of Russia and the Internet resource “Geometria.ru”.

The exhibition runs till the end of June.
