 
  World culture: Exhibition of unique masterpieces “Jeweler of the last tsars” in Turin
      A unique exhibition of masterpieces of Russian decorative art work of Carl Faberge, entitled "Jeweler of the last tsars" opened on July 27, 2012 in Italy at the "Venaria Reale» museum complex near Turin.
The exhibits for the exhibition are granted by domestic cultural and historical foundation "The Link of Times", whose mission consists in returning to Russia the cultural property removed from the country in the twentieth century.
In the "Venaria Reale" museum complex viewers can see more than 350 works by Faberge, Ovchinnikov, Khlebnikov, Sazikov and other famous Russian artists.
The center of exposition is undoubtedly the collection of 13 Faberge Easter Eggs, 9 of which were created in 1885-1917 by the order of the royal family.
The Turin exhibition consists of four separate sections. The first of which is "Splendour of the court of the Romanovs" - tells about the coronation celebrations of the enthronement of Nicholas II, at which the future King of Italy Victor Emmanuel III as the guest was presented. The second section of the exhibition is entirely devoted to the famous jewelry factory, a prominent Russian artist and entrepreneur Carl Faberge, which was founded in the mid-nineteenth century in Saint-Petersburg. The third and fourth sections are called the "Imperial Easter Eggs" and "Sacred icons".
The exhibition “Jeweler of the last tsars” runs till November, 9.
