
The Presidential Library: New acquisitions
The Presidential Library holdings have been enriched with digital documents delivered by our partners from the Volgograd and the Tyumen Regions.
From the Volgograd Regional Universal Scientific Library n. a. M. Gorky were received electronic copies of the office work materials of the local authorities of the Saratov Province dating to the 19th – 20th centuries, that is of district assemblies and district zemstvo (Reports of the Administrative Board to the Tsaritsyn District Zemstvo Assembly: to the 47th regular of 1912: On the introduction of universal education in the Tsaritsyn county (Tsaritsyn, 1912), to the 47th regular of 1912: On the Agronomic Department (Tsaritsyn , 1913), to the 48th regular of 1913: On the Agronomic Department (Tsaritsyn, 1914),as well as journals of the Tsaritsyn County Zemstvo Assembly: of the 43rd regular (1908 session) (Saratov, 1909), of the 32nd regular from 1897 to 1898 (Tsaritsyn, 1898), of the 45th regular from 1910 to 1911 (Tsaritsyn, 1911), of the 46th regular from 1911 to 1912 (Tsaritsyn, 1912), of the first updated of emergency from 8-11th April 1917 (Tsaritsyn 1917) and the regular Kamyshin District Zemstvo Assembly of 1913 (Kamyshin, 1913)), which provide information on current economic affairs of the counties: building and repairing of roads, schools, hospitals, management of the food business, the organization of land-credit, improving handicraft industry, the organization of Zemstvo statistics, etc.
The Mendeleev Regional Scientific Library of Tyumen has delivered electronic copies of the Materials for the study of the economic life of the state peasants and foreigners in Western Siberia. Issue 2: The economic life of the state peasants of the Antropovskoy, Yelanskaya, Lipchinskii and Tavdinsky districts of the Tyumen County, Tobolsk Province (St. Petersburg, 1889), Issue 8: The economic life of the state peasants of the Kurgan county, Tobolsk Province. Volume 1 (St. Petersburg, 1890), giving an idea about the geography of the region, climate, population, sources of wealth, land availability, economic status of farming, fisheries, public education, etc., as well as the Reference book on dairying in Western Siberia as to 1900 (Tobolsk, 1900) - a guide on the private sector of the agricultural production in relation to local conditions.
The attitude of Russian criticism to the personaly and work of poet M. Lermontov and N. Nekrasov is reflected in a chronological collection, "Russian critical literature on the works of M. Yu. Lermontov." Part 1 (Moscow, 1913), Part 2 (Moscow, 1904) and in the "Collection of critical articles on N. A. Nekrasov." Part 2: 1864-1873 (Moscow, 1914), Part 3: 1874-1877 (Moscow, 1903).
