Information technology and Russian regions: Festival of city technologies “InfoCity” is held in Moscow

From August 30 to September 2, 2012 the Andreyevsky pedestrian bridge, which connects Frunzenskaya and Pushkinskaya embankments of the capital will become the city of the future, as promised organizers of the first street festival of high technologies “InfoCity”.

Muscovites will be shown in action last achievements in the field of information and they will learn how to use electronic services.

"The festival is timed to the City Day and our aim is to add the Muscovites the holiday, so to report on what we are doing and planning to do in the framework of the "Information City" will be in the most accessible and entertaining way", - said the deputy head of the Department of Information Technology Eugene Dukhonin. According to him, for the smallest visitors every day of the holiday there will be working a high-tech entertainment palace with mobile and educational games, and the older generation will be able to pull up their computer literacy in an interactive lecture "infoCity".

"Our goal is not only to report to the Muscovites, but also to understand how what we do, is now demanded, to receive feedback and to dispel fears and concerns of modern technology", - said the tasks the deputy head of the festival DIT Andrey Belozerov.
