Information technology and cartography: The unified digital cartography base will be launched in the Novosibirsk region

A unified digital cartographic base of the region will be created in the Novosibirsk region.

It will present a digital map, which will have different layers of spatial data, said the head of the department of information and telecommunications technology development Anatoly Dyubanov.

According to him, the digital map information will have information on territory planning of all municipalities of the Novosibirsk region.

In the future, it will have the different layers of spatial data, such as the transport system, the industrial enterprises, social institutions in the region and others.

The basic version of the digital map will be developed by this October. In the future it will be available in the Internet at a creating geo web site of the Novosibirsk region.
