Politics and society: Exhibition on the history of elections in Russia opened in Yekaterinburg

The exhibition of archival documents "History of pre-election campaign in Russia" opened in Yekaterinburg, in the reading room of the Sverdlovsk Documentation Centre of public organizations.

The exhibition features the campaign material (posters, flyers, calendars and other documents) of referendums and elections, held in Sverdlovsk, Yekaterinburg and the Sverdlovsk region in the period from 1990 to 2000s.

The exhibition features materials and photographs of such events as the All-Union referendum on the preservation of the USSR, the Russian presidential elections since 1991, the All-Russian referendum, held on April 25, 1993, elections to the bodies of representative power of the municipal, regional and federal levels.

The exhibition runs till August 31.
