Information technology: Russia and Spain to create information technology transfer centre

Moscow and Madrid actively negotiate the creation of a Spanish-Russian Center for transfer of information and telecommunication technologies, told the Vice-President, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the executive Committee of the Union of makers and specialists in information and telecommunications technology, Gennady Popov.

He heads the Russian delegation in the ongoing in the Spanish capital of the 5th Russian-Spanish forum on information and communication technologies, as well as the annual technological fair “SIMO NETWORK”.

"One center is to be set up on the basis of the Scientific Park of Madrid, the second center - in Moscow, on the basis of union Instrument and experts on information and telecommunication technologies. The purpose of these centers to develop cooperation between Russian and Spanish organizations", - said Gennady Popov.

In his opinion, based on the experience of a similar center in Germany, which was established six years ago, the Spanish-Russian center will promote Russian high technologies to the international market.

Gennady Popov said that on the 5th Russian-Spanish Forum on Information and Communication Technologies, to Spanish colleagues were presented the most interesting Russian nanotechnology that will help to establish cooperative ties between the Russian and Spanish specialized scientific organizations.

The forum was attended by representatives from more than 20 different Russian organizations. These are universities, public research centers, institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, private scientific production enterprises.

Gennady Popov also said that at the opening on September 25, 2012 technological fair "SIMO NETWORK" Russians will present a wide range of information technology in education, medicine, search engines, technology, modern computing, supercomputers, as well as applied research for the needs of the real sector of economy.
