Russian culture abroad: Russian Language and Culture Week in Vienna

24 to 29 September 2012, in Vienna (Austria) is held the Week of Russian Language and Russian Culture.

The event was prepared by the Philological Faculty of the National Research University "Higher School of Economics" and the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) in Austria.

During the event, participants will attend the methodical and scientific seminars, round tables, workshops and trainings. In the framework of the European Day of Languages, RCSC will host international theoretical and practical conference on bilingual families and preservation of the Russian language in them.

According to organizers, the event will especially focus on children's audience: along with open lessons for schoolchildren there will be held cultural events, language games, quizzes and competitions.
