Memory of Russia: “The Enemy Crossed Our Borders…” Exhibition timed to the 200th anniversary of the Patriotic War of 1812 held in Pavlovsk

"The enemy crossed our borders ..." exhibition timed to the 200th anniversary of the Patriotic War of 1812, opens September 20, 2012 at the State Museum-Reserve "Pavlovsk".

Most of the exhibits are presented to the public for the first time. Among the exhibits - the real rarities related to the inhabitants of the Pavlovsk Palace. There are documents, prints, cartoons, books, which the Empress Maria Fedorovna valued and kept in her library.

Among the unique exhibits are the "Notes at the Farm", personally made by the Empress Maria Feodorovna, and a small briefcase in which they were stored.
