Russian regions: Photo exhibition “Travel to Russkiy Island” is open in Vladivostok

September 5, 2012 at the Contemporary art gallery "ARKA" a project “Travel to Russkiy Island” by photographer Zakhar Kolovsky is open.

The photo project by Zahar Kolovsky tells about changing once a modeling area of the naval base in the past two years. In recent times the Russkiy Island became the object of attention of the whole country. Such large-scale construction, as in the Russkiy on the eve of the APEC summit in Primorye has not been existed for a long time.

The documentary footage documenting the rapid development of the island and its inhabitants is combined with lyrical images of seascapes and attractions that have always attracted the attention of travelers.

The exhibition will run till September 19.
