Libraries and education: Exhibition “Pictures form the world of science”, dedicated to the Year of Germany in Russia, in the National Library of Russia

September 3, 2012 in the new building of the National Library of Russia (Saint-Petersburg) in the framework of the Year of Germany in Russia and the Russian-German year of Education, Science and Innovations was held a solemn opening of the photo exhibition “Pictures from the world of science” by the project “Popular science”.

The exposition includes 40 large-format paintings. For the exhibition, scientists from institutes Society of Max-Planck have selected photos from various fields of science. The technology for obtaining images is different - from traditional photography and color microscopic shooting to shooting with computer simulations.
