Archives of Russia: The first Interregional conference on archives in Khakassia

October 18, 2012 Abakan (Republic of Khakassia) hosts the first Interregional scientific and practical conference “Archival documents in the system of objective scientific knowledge of the history of Siberia”.

The program of the scientific and practical conference features the work of 3 sections:

- “The history of pre-revolutionary Siberia in the archival documents”;

- “The history of Siberia of the XX century in the system of archival documents”;

- “The Archival”

Key discussion points of the conference are the reconstruction of the historical reality of pre-revolutionary Siberia based on analysis of archival sources; reflection of the recent history of Siberia in the archival documents; discussion of theoretical and practical issues of improving the level and quality of recruitment and appraisal of documents on the history of Siberia; reflection of personal archives of stories in the documentary heritage of Siberia; analysis of history researches of the documentary heritage of Siberia.
