Book publishing and book distribution: Frankfurt Book Fair has opened
The 64th Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse), one of the largest international book fairs, is held from 10 to 14 October 2012 and represents more than 7,000 exhibitors from 100 countries which will participate in the three thousand events. The guest of honor at the fair this year was selected New Zealand, representatives of this country will bring to Frankfurt not only literature, but also a great social program.
The main themes of the 64th Frankfurt Book Fair have become adolescent and children's literature, as well as the market for electronic books.
A special program Frankfurt Academy will offer participants of the book fair to learn how to promote books to a children's audience, which brands produce a positive reaction in today's children and adolescents. Curators of the program point out that children and adolescent literature is by far the fastest growing part of the book market.
Much attention will be paid to the educational literature, as well as the issue of implementing the school curriculum of interactive learning models. In the framework of the fair will run a "class of the future", in which it will be possible to learn about, not just using online tutorials, but 3D-glasses and multidimensional projection.
Another important topic of the Frankfurt Fair is literature about tourism and travel.
