International events: International scientific conference “Russia and Germany: Literary and Cultural Relations” in Moscow
21 to 24 November 2012, in the framework of the Year of Russia - Germany, the State Pushkin Museum (Moscow) hosts the International Conference "Russia and Germany: Literary and Cultural Relations."
More than fifty of the participants, who came to the Russian capital from capitals and regions of Russia and Germany, are discussing features of the centuries-old dialogue between the two great cultures of the world. In an extensive conference program - scientific reports related to the interaction in the fields of literature, theater, music, cinema, fine and decorative arts; meetings of the thematic subgroups; special excursions and cultural programs.
As part of the opening of the conference was held the presentation of a valuable gift to the State Pushkin Museum timed to its 55th anniversary in October of this year - a pair of dueling pistols of Pushkin's era made by Karl Pirko, famous gunsmith of Austro-German school.
