Society and culture: Scientific conference dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Konstantin Korovin, in Moscow

November 15, 2012 the State Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow) hosts a scientific conference "Konstantin Korovin and his era. Problems of his work and the role of the painter in the artistic life of Russia of late XIX - early XX century".

Conference is timed to the 150th anniversary of the artist and to the recently completed anniversary exhibition "Konstantin Korovin. Painting. Theater. To the 150th anniversary of his birth".

The conference covers all aspects of the creation of a multilateral creative work of Korovin, including the latest, the least studied period abroad, his relationship with the artistic groups (TPHV, CPX, "World of Art"), as well as educational and exhibition activities of the artist.
