History of Russia: Exhibition “The Patriotic War of 1812 and the Russian Navy” in Severodvinsk

November 4, 2012 the Severodvinsk city historical museum (the Arkhangelsk region) presents the exhibition "The Patriotic War of 1812 and the Russian Navy".

The exposition features copies of the Central Naval Museum (St. Petersburg). This, for example, fine art of foreign and Russian artists of the war in 1812 and foreign campaigns of the Russian Army in 1813-1814, copies (replicas) of weapons and uniforms of the Guards - an elite naval units that participated in these campaigns on land, photo of 1912 from the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the glorious events. All this after the exhibition will remain in the museum. A gem of genuine exposition will be items from private collections of the descendants of the heroes of 1812.
