Exhibitions: Exposition “Five centuries of the Italian drawing” in Moscow

The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts (Moscow) on December 1, 2012 opened an exhibition "Five Centuries of the Italian drawing" from the collection of the Museum.

The Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts presents two exhibitions: paintings by Italian masters of the XVI - XX centuries from the Museum and the "Codex on the flight of birds" by Leonardo da Vinci from the Royal Library in Turin (Italy).

The exhibition "Five Centuries of Italian drawing. From the collection of the Pushkin Museum" presents about 250 works of famous masters of the Italian school of the early XVI - the end of the XX century. Its organization is linked to the publication of three volumes of scientific catalog of the collection of Italian drawing in the collection of the Pushkin Museum.

The collection of Italian drawings of the Pushkin Museum, established in the end of the XIX –early XX century and numbering more than 3000 pages opening a unique opportunity to discover the history of the graphic art of Italy.
