Exhibitions: Exposition “Miniature from private collections” in Saint-Petersburg

January 23, 2013 at the Western housing of the G. R. Derzhavin Museum estate (Saint-Petersburg) is opening the exhibition “Miniature from private collections”, dedicated to the memory of the miniature artist N. M. Klein.

For the first time the exhibition features taken together miniatures, made in different years by the miniature artists Nina Klein. The artist created miniature copies from the paintings of Russian and West European masters, portraits, icons, independent compositions. She created more than 300 miniatures on different bases: bones, metal and wood.

The exhibition is open till 28 February 2013.
