Society and culture: Exhibition, dedicated to the playwright Vampilov, in Moscow
The exhibition “Invitation to the world of theatre of Alexander Vampilov”, dedicated to the collaboration of the famous Irkutsk playwright with Moscow theatres, opened in Theatre Gallery on Malaya Ordynka (branch of A. A. Bachrushin Theatre Museum in Moscow).
The exhibition features posters, programs, sketches of costumes and costumes themselves, models of scenery, numerous photographs and books.
The basis of the exhibition makes up exhibits from the collection of the A. A. Bachrushin Museum, family archives of the playwright. All theatres have given their materials. They are the Moscow Art Theatre, the Oleg Tabakov Theater, the theater "Near the house of Stanislavsky", the Ermolovsky Theatre, the Stanislavsky Drama Theatre, where started the Moscow life of Vampilov drama," - said the exhibition curator, director of the Vampilov center in Irkutsk Galina Soluyanova.
