Exhibitions: Anniversary exposition “Petersburg. The 20th anniversary” is opening

January 12, 2013 the Central Exhibition Hall “Manege” will host an exhibition “Petersburg. The 20th anniversary”, summing up 20 years of existence of the annual exhibition “Petersburg”.

The exhibition “Petersburg” – is a reflection of the city art from 1993 to 2012. The total number of participants of the exhibition of its existence is more than two and a half thousand.

The exhibition “Petersburg. The 20th anniversary” has “archive” nature: artists show their works relating to different years between 1993 and 2012.

The main attention will be given to schools and associations. Painting, drawing and sculpture works are presented by artists belonging to such large associations as: the Union of Artists, Pushkinskaya-10 "Mitki", a group of 11, Creative Circle of Artists "Ozerki - Village of Painters". Personal expositions will be shown by well-known Petersburg photographers.

The annual section “Jubilees” will be open on January 18 in the Small Hall of the Manege (embankment of Griboyedov Canal, 103).
