Information technology and authority: Conference “ICT in the public sector 2013” in Moscow

March 14, 2103 the Marketing Communications Agency CNews Conferences and CNews Analytics holds in Moscow the conference “ICT in the public sector 2013”.

Throughout the world state initiatives are the main engine of development of information in the country. Russia is not an exception. The state program “Information Society” as well as a number of regional and departmental programs have had a significant impact on the level of ITC use in the county and led to tangible results.

During 2011 Russia rose to 2 lines in the worldwide ranking IDI (“Index of ICT development”), moving to the 38th place from the 40th, which the national ICS branch took in 2010, and also rose by 32 points to the 27th place in the ranking of development of electronic government in the world, prepared by the United Nations.

The conference addresses the following issues:

- How to gain a foothold in the conquered positions in the world?

- When the public sector to fully switch to electronic public services?

- If the electronic document come to the regions and municipalities?

 - If government spending on IT are transparent?

- Are citizens ready to the electronic communications with the government?
