International events: Russia and the United Kingdom to hold the Cross Cultural Year

On March 13, 2013 in London Russia and the United Kingdom as part of the Strategic dialogue signed the joint statement on holding the Cross Cultural Year in 2014, told to reporters after the meeting of the Foreign Ministry of Russia and Britain Sergei Lavrov and William Hague.

“This is consistent with the dynamics of our relations”, - said S. Lavrov.

W. Hague, in his turn, added that he was convinced that the Cross Cultural Year allows “strengthen ties of British and Russian peoples”.
