Society and media: The Daily Telegraph launches the updated application about Russia “Russia beyond the Headlines”

30 April 2013

April 30, 2013 in the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph was issued the updated application about Russia under the heading Russia Beyond the Headlines. It is designed for foreign reader, so the design, the layout and principles of presentation of materials are complied with European standards of journalism.

The International project of the “Russian newspaper” Russia Beyond the Headlines for the past 6 years has been contributed to reputable British newspaper, which in 2007 had an application Russia Now. Now the application of The Daily Telegraph has the same name as of the project. Thus, it is planned to strengthen the international position and increase brand awareness.

The direction of The Daily Telegraph has taken the initiative to change the design of the application RBTH, as close to the design of the newspaper itself. The layout of the application has also undergone significant changes. In this regard, the updated application has all the photos. During the many years of cooperation it was able to identify themes, the most interesting to British readers. The published materials have changed the emphasis in the direction of news journalism (i.e. coverage of the latest developments and the most important topics), moving away from the common themes of Russia as a whole.
