Education and society: Social-Pedagogical Forum “Education in Russia: traditions and challenges of the new time” in Saint-Petersburg

April 11-12, 2013 in Saint-Petersburg is held the sixth session of the Social-Pedagogical Forum “Education in Russia: traditions and challenges of the new time”.

At the forum are considered issues related to the development of the education system in Russia, the practice of cultural-historical, spiritual and moral education, methods of training, and the role of the media in shaping the moral foundations of personality.

The forum is attended by representatives of government bodies, educational, scientific and educational institutions, as well as public organizations and the media.

The President of the International Association of teachers of Russian language and literature, the head of Board of Trustees of the Russkiy Mir Foundation Lyudmila Verbitskaya has become the Chairman of the program committee of the Forum.

The Forum is held at several venues: at the Saint-Petersburg State University, The Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia and the Nakhimov Naval School.
