Society and Culture: In the Rostov Kremlin handed operation Benoit and Malevich
"Rostov Kremlin" Museum funds have replenished with valuable exhibits. Well-known collector and patron, Prince Nikita Lobanov-Rostovsky has donated to the museum the collection of Russian paintings and drawings of late XIX - early XX century, including original works by Alexander Benois and Kasimir Malevich.
Among the gifts are the portraits of Russian tsars, decorative and applied arts pieces, and the unique documents. The related to the fate of the first wave of immigration materials are of particular interest to historians.
Nikita Lobanov-Rostovsky repeatedly contributes the artworks to the Moscow A. S. Pushkin Fine Art Museum. Three thousand folios library and a part of the family archive were handed to Alexander Solzhenitsyn Russian Diaspora House.
