The developed by Roskomnadzor Concept on information safety of children will be introduced to the public in September this year. This was announced by the head of department, Alexander Zharov, noting that work on the document involves scientists and experts in various fields.

As explained Deputy Head of Roskomnadzor Maxim Ksenzov, one of the directions of this document will be an increase of media literacy of the population, starting with children, parents and teachers, and ending with the operators. In addition, the paper will raise the issue of the need to determine the age below which children are not encouraged to go to the Internet without parental care. The concept will also give advice to teachers on Internet filtering in schools, including Wi-Fi.

A separate object of interest of experts, according to Ksenzov will become cartoons and computer games: scientists have to determine the criteria by which they could be considered hazardous to the child’s mind.
