Library of Russia: Feast "Library view" in Kemerovo

On 16th of May, 2013, the Kemerovo Regional Scientific Library named after V. D. Fedorov, "Kuzbass Libraries" non-profit library partnership, with the support of the Department of Culture and National Policy of the Kemerovo region, arrange interdepartmental professional holiday "The Library View", dedicated to the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture and the All-Russian Library Day.

In 2013, the right to tell about the achievements and to present the culture of the territory is granted to Taiga urban district.

The exhibitions of amateur painters and the masters of arts and crafts will take place during this day.

"We are in your History, Kuzbass" exposition will reveal the past and present of Taiga. Guests of the festival will see the performances of Taiga writers and poets. The work of the city libraries will be presented by "The Library Manuals Parade" exhibition of printed and electronic products created by library staff.

“Open the Book to Discover the World” exhibition of Taiga’s resident and a private collector of old books and coins Sergei Smagina will adorn the holiday. Displayed exhibits are the books of religious, scientific and popular content of the XVII-XIX centuries were published in Russia and abroad.
