History of Russia: The exhibition “Overcoming the Time of Troubles in Russia in the beginning of the XVII century” in Nizhnevartovsk

May 15, 2013 at the Central Library of Nizhnevartovsk city opened a federal exhibition “Overcoming the Time of Troubles in Russia in the beginning of the XVII century."

In 2013, Russia celebrates the 400th anniversary of the end of the Time of Troubles and the restoration of the Russian statehood. In commemoration of this event in 40 cities of Russia are open exhibitions, visiting that Russians can see the collection of historical documents presented in the format of scanned color copies taken from the original documents which are in the museums of the Federal Archival Agency, including the Russian State Archive of Ancient Acts. The visitors of exhibitions are presented high-quality copies of prints, paintings and documents on the subject of the Time of Troubles in Russia during the beginning of the XVII century.

The municipal budget organization “Library Information System” in Nizhnevartovsk, as part of the exhibition presents materials from the library collection: documentary and fiction books, articles, periodicals, media resources, including documentary and feature films, as well as audio books on the Time of Troubles in Russia during the beginning of the XVII century.

The exhibition will run till June 15, 2013.
