History of Russia: “Russia Day” on the Kulikovo Field

For many people of Central Russia it has become a tradition to celebrate the country’s main national holiday – Russia Day – on the Kulikovo Field – the Russian First Battle field, on June 12.

Russia Day on the Kulikovo Field is a great opportunity to learn about the historical and cultural heritage of the Tula region and to become a participant of celebrations in the village of Monastyrshchino and the Red Hill.
