 
  President of Russia: Vladimir Putin ordered to open archives in the digital environment
      The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin ordered to develop a set of measures for the production of digital copies which are stored on archive of film and photographic documents relating to the history and culture of Russia, and its diversification into the All-Russian Internet portal, dedicated to the promotion of cultural and historical heritage of the Russian Federation.
The instruction was executed after the meeting of the Presidential Council for Culture and the Arts, held on October 2, 2013 in Moscow. Vladimir Putin also told the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation up to 1 April 2014, in conjunction with the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for Culture and the Arts to ensure the development of the project Principles of state cultural policy.
The Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed till February 15, 2014 to prepare proposals for further improvement of the system of state support for film production, film distribution and film exhibition in the Russian Federation, the national film heritage conservation. Measures will be taken to improve the federal state educational standards for primary general, basic general and secondary education, based on the need to increase the requirements for the results of the study of Russian language and literature and the need to consider when assessing the degree of development of appropriate educational programs complete general education outcomes of public defense of studying individual projects in the form of essays. It will take improvement of methods of teaching Russian language and literature in educational institutions, including using the capabilities of museums, libraries and other cultural institutions.
