The Presidential Library: New acquisitions

At the Presidential Library web site has been published the fourth issue of the annual collection of the “Digital Library” series.

The previous three editions of scientific papers have been devoted to the following topics: “Digital library: the integration of information resources”, “Modern technologies of information resources integration”, “Coordination and standardization in the development and use of national information resources”.

The fourth edition (St. Petersburg, 2013) includes articles on the scientific, organizational and technological issues of the development of integrated information resources in the libraries of various typological and departmental affiliations. A special attention is given to the potential use of semantic technologies to provide open data library catalogs, especially organizations of digital content in educational institutions, as well as a number of digital projects in Russia and the CIS countries.

The publication is intended for specialists of cultural institutions - librarians, archivists, museum professionals, students and teaching staff of specialized higher education institutions, as well as for those who are interested in digital libraries.
