25 December 2013

December 25, 2013 in Moscow opens the Youth Center for Cultural Innovation "Scriabin House".

This is a unique multimedia complex, which includes a concert hall, exhibition space and interactive class.

The Center for Cultural Innovation "Scriabin House" is opening in the former "apartment house" built in the 19th century, which is located in the courtyard "Memorial Museum of A. N. Scriabin".

In the second building of Scriabin Museum, which will house the Center for Cultural Innovation, is created a concert hall with a visual transformation. The hall is set high-tech equipment for the light- experiments "in the spirit of Scriabin". Using 3D-technology and video-mapping for a few seconds allows you to make the room in the "other space", whether it is Red Square or the Theatre Royal, Covent Garden.

Composer Alexander Scriabin was one of the brightest representatives of the innovative "Silver Age" of Russian culture. He had a unique "color hearing" and his ideas of synthesis of classical music and visualization were so progressive that their implementation was made possible only 100 years later. He first turned to the score of the symphonic poem "Prometheus" party light, thus becoming the first in the history of the composer, who used color music.

The Center for Cultural Innovation "Scriabin House" is designed to develop the ideas of the great composer for music visualization. As part of the Centre will be operated a multimedia exhibition hall and interactive class for children, where children will be able to compose and develop light and musical imagination.

The creative laboratory «ScriabinLab» will be constantly working at the Center.

December 25, on the opening day of the Center, here will be started a five-day festival «ScriabinFest», as part of which will be presented to all areas of the Center, ranging from classical music concerts and music installations ending the music of Scriabin.
