Society and media: Multimedia project “TASS Windows” opened at the Novosibirsk metro

The multimedia project "TASS Windows" opened in the Novosibirsk metro. This is the first project in Russia, and it has no analogues in the world.

All carriages in 22 of 24 of composition of stations are equipped with information displays, which broadcast images and news ticker in slideshow format of the main events in the world, Russia and the region.

According to the press conference in the press center of the ITAR-TASS in Novosibirsk, Director General of ITAR-TASS Sergey Mikhailov, "the main purpose of "TASS Windows" is that people in Russia feel involved in all events of the Motherland".

He said that it was a very difficult in technique project, designed specifically for ITAR-TASS. It is made with anti-vandal protection and a reliable security system.

"The next stage - "TASS Windows" take to the streets of the city (ground transportation)" - continued Mikhailov, stressing that this project will be developed across the country.

Governor of the Novosibirsk region Vasily Yurchenko, evaluating the project, said the project "TASS Windows" was conceived three years ago: "By implementing the project, we have received new information opportunities on the brand in the region".

Also in Novosibirsk was opened the Regional Information Center (RIC), ITAR -TASS agency in the Siberian Federal District.

Siberian RIC has become the second in the new concept of agency in Russia. In August 2013 ITAR-TASS information center was opened in Yekaterinburg. Similar centers are planned to be created or upgraded in Rostov-on-Don, Khabarovsk and other cities.

The organization and technical equipment of the press center will allow guests to take the highest level, providing activities the federal level of information support with their participation.
