Russian regions: The XI International exhibition “Artists of central regions of Russia” in the Lipetsk region

December 13, 2013 in the Lipetsk region opens the XI Interregional exhibition "Artists of central regions of Russia". The exhibition is devoted to the upcoming in January of the next year the 60th anniversary of the Lipetsk region and carried out in cooperation with the Union of Artists of Russia. In total, the exhibition will show works by 29 artists of the creative unions, made over the last five years: painting, drawing, sculpture, icons, enamel and ceramics, textiles, and metal.

Ten years ago, in 2003, the artists of the 23 regions of central Russia already presented in the Lipetsk Region their works at the IX exhibition. This year the exhibition "Artists of central regions of Russia" is supported by the Ministry of Culture of Russia, which allowed implementing it in the eight provincial, municipal and private fairgrounds. Residents and guests of the Lipetsk region will have a unique opportunity to come into contact with the works of talented representatives of contemporary art community. The best works of the XI Interregional Exhibition will be selected to participate in the All-Russian Exhibition "Russia", which opens in Moscow on January 21.

The exhibition will run till January 14, 2013.
